Säxerlücke

Another weekend, another visit to the Alpstein massif, this time revisiting Säxerlücke, but under much more favorable conditions, and with a hiking buddy!

We took the cable car from Brülisau to Hoher Kasten, then followed the ridge south-west to Säxerlücke, continüd up over Zwinglipass, and finally down to Wildhaus.

The view from Hoher Kasten; we couldn't have asked for better weather. Our route goes along the central ridge, to the left of Sämtisersee.
