Review: Win or Lose

Beware the chicken.

An on-a-whim weekend series speedrun that was shockingly good. Superficially about softball, but mainly about individual struggles with expectations, poverty, relationships, chickens, vulnerability, and more. I really enjoyed each episode being from the perspective of a character over nearly the entire chronology of the series, rather than each episode being a temporal slice of time. I also really enjoyed how the animators took advantage of the medium to show how each episode's lead experiences the world and their emotions. Overall, easy easy-watching recommendation.
